Who are GUMSA?

GUMSA (Glasgow University Muslim Students Association) represents Muslims at the University of Glasgow and seeks to nurture relations between Muslims on and around campus. We are dedicated to furthering the cause of Islam at the University and in the local community. We aim to disseminate Islamic knowledge among Muslims to help strengthen their commitment to Islam as a complete way of life; as well as to non-Muslims to help diminish false images that may be exist about Islam.

Our aims are to provide:

- Unity on campus

- Source of good company and a chance to mix with other Muslims

- Dispelling myths about Islam

- Dawah to Muslims and non-Muslims

- Interfaith relations
